Uhhh its time to reload! This year the Supremesurf crew steped on the gas to present you the next awesome trip through the Baltic Sea. Two trips are possible and both dates are around the “Zuparken” festival in the beginning of september. Don’t miss it! Yesterday we, that is Oli Panny, Henning Sandström, Christophe Tack and Tom Schüller met in Hvide Sande for a kiteboarding roadmovie. The wind was okay, so we searched for obstacles. Its Saturday the 10th of July and I’m at the “Tatort Hawaii” to pull off the first Kiteskate contest in the history of kitesurfing together with Torben and Jens. Its a sunny day at the beautiful kitespot Stein. To use the butterbox and kicker also without wind the locals supported us with a jetski and a boot . As we got started the guys were pushing it really hard from the beginning and everyone gave it a go on hitting the obstacles. Amir was an outstanding rider and could get every vote from each rider. BIG PROPS to all riders and Schwerelosigkite, who made it possible. www.kiteskate.eu

I still have problems with my knee. the doctor says two more weeks on crutches – that sucks! the femoral is already slim like a drumstick. anyway I’m working on different projects – excited about it. Well, these year I won’t compete at many contests, but have a lot of plans for trips to northern europe. Before that will be in Kiel a good event from the 10. to 11. of july. You won’t believe it, if you haven’t been there. When I arrived I had no expectations about the coming event. I had to wait at the airport for 4 more hours before my boardbag also landed in Copenhagen. At the first sight of the spot – whatever, I can’t tell you how stoked I was. MJ made a dream come true and brought two massive nylon obstacles from unit park tech to the dirty brown lagoon. Despite the water colour it was the perfect flatwater spot. With the X Board Slide’n’Ride Peter Sands and Thomas Alsbirk, one of the international LF riders, established the first real wakestyle event in Europe. Props to you guys!
18 invited riders from all over Europe made the event a special one. Henning Sandström from Sweden threw huge grabs in the air, and to be out on the water with Oli Panny from Austria again was just fun. For me it ended on crutches, because I fucked my knee after a glorious party at the cable park on Sunday. But anyway, until the next Slide’n’ride I will be recovered- yeah. See you guys in 2011 in copenhagen for the next Slide’n’Ride. It was a pleasure meeting all of you and riding together.

The Kitespain reports from an epic session on the waku. We were damned lucky to witness one of these very random perfect days: 20 knots, blue sky and fresh powder. We took photos with three external flashlights. My feet felt like after a marathon. But it made so much fun to do 540s, rodeo flips, inverted rolls… over the kicker, that we continued the session the half night!
German Snowkite Champion 2010, yeah it sounds so good (smile). It has been my first snowkite contest, which I’ve been waiting for years. I came third place in the international judging after Remi and Heinar and won the German Championship. It was a hell of fun shredding the obstacles and doing handlepasses on snow. At Saturday evening the wind forecast looked pretty bad, so everybody celebrated massive on the fabulous Schwerelosigkite party. All in all it had been an awesome weekend!
…just got back home and it is a huge difference between 30°, turquoise water, bright sunshine and minus 10° with snowfall.
Anyway, last Friday a nice article about the snowkite session on the Wasserkuppe was published in a daily paper. Just perfect, to get me real excited about the next snowkite session…
